Caramida aparenta antichizata Rialto

Red facing brick with yellow accents

Rialto is a hand-moulded brick of Nelissen Brickworks. This brick has a yellow surface. The colour variations show pastel shades ranging from orange-red to dark red with locally some yellow nuances.

The non-perforated facing brick from the Nuance range is sanded on five sides and provided with a possible oblong sloping groove on one flat side (frog, group 1).

Rialto is characterized by a rough exterior structure with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The baking process is done in a gas-fired tunnel kiln under a slightly reducing atmosphere.

These hand-moulded bricks are manufactured from Löss from Limburg, extracted from the plateau of Kesselt in the Meuse valley. The facing brick is revalued with raw materials from the Volcanic Eifel.
