The yellow brick with a touch of white

Our Fiore is a hand-moulded brick with a yellow to pale pink colour. The surface of this brick is yellowish while it was sanded with fine white sand. The non-perforated brick is covered with sand on five sides and is provided with a possible oblong groove on one flat side.

Nelissen Brickworks manufactures Fiore from Löss, extracted from the plateau of Kesselt in the Meuse valley and revalued with raw materials from the Volcanic Eifel.

The baking process is done in a gas-fired tunnel kiln under slightly reducing atmosphere. Fiore is a facing brick from the Pastel range of Nelissen Brickworks.
