The brick that makes you dream of the south

The Maranello has a yellowish surface. The different types of sand provide colours that vary from white to yellow, interspersed with light-grey and dark shades in defined proportions, in which the white deposits are clearly present.

These hand-moulded facing bricks are made from Löss from Limburg, extracted from the plateau of Kesselt in the Meuse valley and revalued with raw materials from the Volcanic Eifel.

The non-perforated brick is covered with sand on five sides and is provided with a possible oblong groove on one flat side. The structure has a rough appearance with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The baking process is done in a gas-fired tunnel kiln under slightly reducing atmosphere.
