Rosado of Nelissen Brickworks is a non-perforated hand-moulded brick from the Pastel range. It is sanded on five sides, and provided with a possible oblong sloping groove on one flat side (frog, group 1).

This brick is manufactured by Nelissen Brickworks from Löss from Limburg. It is extracted from the plateau of Kesselt in the Meuse valley and revalued with raw materials from the Volcanic Eifel.

The structure of the Rosado is formed by a rough appearance with fine irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The baking process is done in a gas-fired tunnel kiln under a slightly reducing atmosphere.

The surface of the brick is in salmon-pink. The colour shades vary from yellow-pink to red-pink with some small nuances.
