Caramida aparenta antichizata Autrique

An orange-red to wine red facing brick at its best

Our Autrique is a hand-moulded facing brick with an orange to wine red colour with blue nuances.

The surface of the brick is red and five sides are covered with sand. The flat side is provided with a possible oblong and sloping groove.

Nelissen Brickworks makes the Autrique of Löss from Limburg, extracted from the plateau of Kesselt in the Meuse valley and revalued with raw materials from the Volcanic Eifel.

The baking process is done in a gas-fired tunnel kiln under a slightly reducing atmosphere. The Autrique is a facing brick from the Passion range of Nelissen Brickworks.
